We are delighted to announce Classlist’s selection as IAPS’ fourth Premier Partner. IAPS (the Independent Association of Prep Schools) is the largest association of independent school heads in the UK. Classlist runs the UK’s biggest school parent community app.

Classlist will be promoted by IAPS as Premier Partner in the area of parent communications, community and engagement plus parent events and activities. Classlist will have exclusivity of representation in these areas of commercial work.

IAPS CEO Christopher King said:

“IAPS is excited at the benefits members can expect from linking themselves to Classlist. We’ve seen Classlist’s app really help IAPS member schools strengthen parent relationships and significantly improve the flow of communications in a very safe and reliable manner. School leaders use Classlist to bring all parents together in one place, on a fully GDPR compliant platform. This state-of-the-art solution has proved far more inclusive, secure and easier to moderate than general purpose social media channels, where membership and interactions can become fraught with problems.”

Classlist CEO Susan Burton said:

“Pupils and parents make lifelong friendships during their prep school years. Classlist’s app helps parents connect easily and safely to build strong relationships. These in turn support pupil learning and development. Classlist is proud to be working with IAPS to build kind, inclusive school communities in the UK and around the world.”

The IAPS Premier Partner programme

IAPS represents 670 of the world’s leading prep schools. IAPS Premier Partners are individually invited to support IAPS as part of a very limited sponsor group, each enjoying exclusive representation in their field. IAPS endorses Premier Partner offerings to school leaders on the basis that their services improve the educational lives of children.

How Classlist fits in

Parents use Classlist’s school community app to link up, organise events, share recommendations and trade stuff. It is the global market leader building school communities with flagship schools in 16 countries. Many head teachers prefer it to social media because of privacy, safety and inclusivity concerns. Classlist won Startup of the year at the world’s biggest ed-tech event in 2018.
